Analysis of Macao's Foreign Trade Structure after its Return to China's Mainland

文章利用翔实的时间序列数据,对澳门回归祖国后的对外贸易结构进行了全面的分析,挖掘出澳门货物贸易逆差的深层次原因是经济结构单一化和制造业萎缩,并提出澳门贸易结构升级的策略选择为政策支持及区域经济合作。

This paper makes a deep and complete analysis of Macao＇s foreign trade structure after its return to China's Mainland based on detailed time-series data, and finds that the single-product economic structure with diminishing manufacturing industries is the underlying reason for Macao＇s merchandise trade deficits. Finally, it puts forward some key measures for upgrading Macao＇s trade structure such as policy support and regional economic cooperation.
