摘要
针对传统光纤式结冰传感器无法对冰和水进行识别的问题,提出了一种新型的光纤式双探头结冰传感器系统。冰水识别探头采用条纹状包层设计,利用包层折射率对光纤传输容量的影响进行冰、水识别。同时,利用冰层对光强的调制作用实现结冰厚度测量。融合双探头的测量结果,即可区分冰与水的厚度特性曲线。最后,利用试制完成的原理样机,在试验平台上分别对冰、水和空气等介质进行了测量试验。结果表明该系统能有效识别冰、水及空气,并具有较高的测量精度。
In accordance with the problem that water and ice cannot be discriminated by the traditional fiber-optic icing sensor, this paper put forward a novel fiber-optic double-probe icing detection system. The water ice discrimination probe was formed by placing spaced stripes of a clad material on a fiber optic core, where the clad refractive index affected the transmission capacity. The ice thickness measurement was implemented using light intensity modulation by ice. By fusing the measuring data of the double-probe, the ice thickness characteristic curve was separated from the water curve. As an application of the detection technique, a calibration experiment platform was set up. The results obtained demonstrate the applicability of the proposed system.
