Public Email System Based on Embedded Linux

本文介绍了电子邮件系统在嵌入式Linux内核的软件平台上的一种实现,并探讨了电子研究的发展现状,电子邮件传输协议的安全架构。在此基础上,给出了一个电子邮件统的设计方案。通过分析基于INTELPXA255的公众无线多媒体终端方案和嵌入式Linux操作系统网络特性,提出了一个基于嵌入式操作系统Linux的电子邮件系统设计方案,支持SMTP/ESMTP,POP3协议,能在线收发邮件及附件,离线处理邮件等特点。

This thesis describes the design and implementation of the Public Email System based on the embedded Linux kernel. And during the processing of the developing, some security frame problems of the Email transferring. Then the thesis analyses the Email system design scheme. According to the Public Wireless Multimedia Terminal （WMT） design scheme and the network characteristics of the embedded Linux, the scheme of the Email system is based on the embedded Linux. It shows the design has much creative work.
