摘要
Linux是一种适合于嵌入式系统的开源操作系统,它可以高效的用来处理各种复杂的任务。本文提出了一种在PMP(Portable Multimedia Player,便携式多媒体播放器)系统上应用嵌入式Linux的方法;对嵌入式Linux操作系统进行了研究和定制,并据此完成了嵌入式Linux操作系统在PMP设备上的移植,探讨了嵌入式Linux驱动程序的设计,同时该方法还能应用到其它消费类电子产品的设计上。
Linux is an open source operating system which is suitable for embedded system,it can process kinds of complete assignments effectively. This thesis explains a method about how to apply embedded Linux to PMP （Portable Multimedia Player） system, which completes the porting procedure of embedded Linux at PMP device by researching and customizing Linux, meanwhile, this method can also be used for other consume electronics products design.
