摘要
从分析直下式LED背光的基础结构入手,对传统的矩阵LED背光布局方式进行数学建模。针对该布局方式的缺点,提出了一种新型的正三角阵LED背光布局模型,通过对比分析,证明该模型能够有效减小混光"盲区"比例,提高均匀性。通过Lighttools仿真软件证明了该新型结构的有效性:当灯腔高度为20mm时,新型正三角阵结构的均匀性为90.79%,相比于传统矩阵结构的88.77%,提升幅度达到2%;在LED间距较密的情况下,新型正三角阵结构的均匀性相比传统结构而言优势并不明显,仅有不到1%的提升;随着灯腔高度的提升,新型正三角阵结构相比传统结构的优势逐渐缩小,当达到24mm时,均匀性的提升仅有0.3%。
Based on the analysis of traditional layout of LED matrix array, a mathematical model is built to optimize the luminance uniformity. Design of novel triangular LED array unit is proposed for improving high uniformity of the direct LED Backlight Units (BLUs) for large area LCD-TVs. With the structure of the triangular LED array unit well illustrated and designed, the comparison simulation between traditional and novel layout using Lighttools software is executed to prove that the novel design performed better on the parameter of uniformity. When the light box thickness is at 20 mm, the uniformity of the novel design reaches 90.79%, which is 2% better than the performance of traditional design at 88. 77% when the layout of the LEDs is dense, the improvement that the novel design brings is not obvious, which is about 1%. along with the rising of the light box thickness, the improvement is reducing, when it comes to 24 mm, the figure only stays at 0.3%.
