文化的社会意义与提升文化“软实力”的思考

Social Significance of Culture and Enhancement of Cultural "Soft Power"

文化作为人类社会的特有现象,无论从狭义和广义上来说,都具有引导社会发展,影响社会性质,推动社会发展的重要社会意义。文化"软实力"是一国综合实力的重要组成部分,是文化社会意义的集中深刻体现。在冷战结束后的国际关系和国际竞争中,提升文化"软实力"成为增强国力的一种战略选择。当前,提升文化"软实力"必须正确把握和处理好几对辩证关系。

As a unique phenomenon in human society, culture, in both narrow and broad sense, has its social significance in guiding and promoting social development. Cultural ＂soft power＂ constitutes an important component of a country＇s comprehensive strength and intensively reflects the social signifi- cance of culture. In the post ＂Cold War＂ international relationships and competitions, it is a strategic selection to get strengthened by enhancing cultural ＂soft power＂. The academic and social resonance evoked by this notion supports the common acknowledgement of the role of culture. However, in order to enhance our cultural ＂soft power＂, we must grasp and well manage some dialectical relationships.
