Liu Yuxi is a very famous writer, thinker, and statesman in Tang Dynasty. With unique experiences, he is particularly good at poems of various styles ： political sarcastic fable poem, historical poem and folk song imitation, in which historical poem is the most brilliant. He not only carried forward the excellence achievements of predecessors, but also integrated them with his own view to create historical poems to the hitherto unknown level. He also set up rules in diction, style, artistic conception, and thus, left an abundant valuable literature legacy for later generations for reference.
