我国是一个多民族国家,由于历史和现实诸多方面的原因,中国各地区之间存在着发展水平上的巨大差异,西部民族地区经济的发展明显落后于全国平均水平,更远远落后于东部沿海地区。探寻西部民族地区经济发展落后的原因,有利于制定相关政策,采取有力措施,促其尽快发展。

China is a multi-ethnic country. Due tO many aspects of historical and practical reasons, there are vast differences in levels of development among the various regions of China. The economic development in ethnic minority areas in western part is clearly lagging behind the national average, and far behind the eastern coastal areas. To explore the reasons is good to the development of relevant policies and take effective measures to promote the development as soon as possible.
