摘要
课堂的文学性对于达到大学英语的教学目标大有裨益,因为文学有助于培养学生的语言综合应用能力,提高学生的人文素养,满足学生的情感需求。教师可通过挖掘文学性课文的主题意义与美学价值、补充文学性的教学材料、设计文学性的语言活动、开设英美文学选修课等途径来实现文学在大学英语课堂中的价值。
This paper proposes that literature is of great value to achieving college English teaching objective, as it helps to cultivate students' comprehensive linguistic competence, raise students' humanistic attainments and satisfy students' emotional needs. It also suggests several ways to make college English class more literary, such as exploring the themes and aesthetic values of the literary texts, sup- plementing class with literary teaching materials, designing literary class activities and offering electives on English literature.
