Critical thinking is a special way of thinking. The using of critical thinking on civic news review can make the opinion more rational and sophisticated. But, if we can＇ t understand this way of thinking correctly and use it properly in practice, we will lose its effect, even lead to the civic news review toward the other extreme and affect communication effect of the civic news. This article mainly emphasizes the importance of the use of critical thinking on the civic news review, points out the errors which should be avoided when the critical thinking be used, and discusses the proper way of using the critical thinking.
