交互式媒体技术在下一代网络中的应用

摘要 两类重要的技术领域已经出现,它们正在改变着人们与信息的关系。其一是面向对象的多媒体编码格式;另一个则是由标记交换和IP交换发展而成的下一代运营商网络的核心技术-MPLS,它在业务质量保证、流量工程、虚拟专用网络等方面有着非常有效的应用。显然,这两类技术在颇大程度上是相辅相成的,所以,如何将此二者融合在一起,充分利用它们的优势并在现实中使用基于它们的系统是非常有现实意义的。因此,本文将探讨一个能够使两者汇合的应用系统。 Two important techniques have emerged and they are changing the relationship between people and information. One is object-oriented multi-media encoding format; and the other is the core technique of the Next Generation Network - MPLS which is derived from Tag Switching and IP Switching, it has efficient applications in QoS, Traffic Engineering, Virtual Private Network. Obviously, these two techniques are mutually complementary to a large extent. Accordingly, it is significant to design a system combining these two techniques and making full use of the predominance of MPLS and MPEG4. Consequently, this article embarks on the design of such a system combining two techniques in one.
