进入知识经济时代,高等教育作为人才培养基地和知识生产、创新、传播、整合与转化基地,与区域社会之间的关系越来越密切。区域经济发展和区域文化建设需要高等教育的智力支持,而高等教育发展有赖于区域经济和区域文化的哺育和滋养。借鉴国外经验,结合国内实际,建立中国高等教育与区域社会发展的良性互动机制,是高等教育发展的必然逻辑,是建设学习型社会、终身教育体系的实际需要。

In the era of knowledge economy,higher education,as a base for talent training,knowledge production,innovation,dissemination,integration and transformation,now has a closer relationship with regional community.While regional economic and cultural development calls for intelligence support from higher education,the development of higher education is in turn fostered by regional economy and culture.Consolidating the foreign experience and domestic practices,it is necessary to set up positive interactions between higher education and regional community development,if we want to build a learning society and a lifelong education system.
