摘要
语言性别差异一直是社会语言学的一个重点话题。从国内外的研究看,男生和女生在外语学习方面存在差异,女生在外语学习方面比男生存在一定优势。这些差异主要是由于生理因素、智力因素、性格因素、兴趣与动机因素及外在的社会因素造成的。通过对这些因素的进一步分析可以看出,要提高外语教学效果,就必须重视这些差异,转变学习态度,培养积极的学习兴趣,发挥专长,扬长避短。
Gender difference in language has always been an important topic in sociolinguistics. Studies both at home and abroad show that male and female differ in language learning, and it seems that females have advantages over males. These differences are mainly caused by internal factors such as physiological differences, intelligence, characters, interests, motives, as well as external social factors. Further analysis of these factors show that efficiency of foreign language education can be achieved if we pay enough attention to those internal and external factors, and help students change their attitude towards study and cultivate their interest in language learning.
