摘要
目的:探讨神经生长因子(nerve growth factor,NGF)在胶质瘤中的表达及其临床意义。方法:用免疫组化Envision法检测胶质瘤中NGF的表达,以10例瘤周正常脑组织为对照。结果:①NGF在各级别胶质瘤中均呈阳性表达,在正常脑组织中低表达,两组间的差异有统计学意义(χ2=14.729,P<0.001);②NGF在各级别胶质瘤中的表达有统计学意义(F=20.49,P<0.001),且其表达强度随病理级别的增加而增加(r=0.6977,P<0.0001);③NGF的表达与患者年龄、性别及肿瘤大小无关,脑室肿瘤表达较其它部位低(χ2=8.336,P=0.015<0.05)。结论:NGF在胶质瘤细胞中的含量变化与胶质瘤的发生发展密切相关,可能成为判断胶质瘤生物学行为、预测病人预后的重要指标,进一步深入研究其调节机制可能为胶质瘤的治疗开辟新的有用的方法。
Objective:To study the expression and clinical significance of NGF(nerve growth factor) in glioma. Methods:90 glioma cases and ten human common cerebral tissue were examined for NGF expression by immunohistochemical method (Envision). Results: (1)The NGF were obviously expressed in glioma,but very low in nomal cerebral tissues; the difference was significant (x^2=16.115,P〈0.001). (2)The difference of NGF between every two grades of gliomas was significant (F=20.49,P〈0.001); and the expression of NGF increased gradually with the rise of pathological grade of glioma (r=0.6977 ,P 〈0.0001 ). (3)The expression of NGF in gliomas was not related with the patients' age,sex and size, but that in the ventricle was lower than that in other place (x^2=8.336, P=0.015〈 0.05).Conclusion:NGF expression was a consistent feature of cerebral tumor especially in glioma ,and its expression level correlated positively with the genesis and development of glioma It can be taken as an useful marker for predicting the biological behavior and the prognosis of glioma.Further studying the mechanisms about the expression and regulation of NGF would lead to find new ways of treating gliomas.
