摘要
本文讨论了一类Volterra模型的建模问题，研究了建模的基本理论与方法，指出了Volterra模型的缺陷、改进办法及在数学建模中的应用。并对一个具体的离散问题建立了数学模型，对此模型进行了定性分析，得到了极限环的存在性，这与数值计算的结果是一致的。
Discusses mathematical modeling with a series of Volterra models, and studies the related basic theories and different methods of modeling. Proposes the shortcoming of Volterra model and its improvement. Develops a mathematical model for a pratial discrete problem and indicates the existence of a limitcycle based on the qualitative analysis.
