DENG Xiao-ping Theory on the Governing Legitimacy of the Party in Power

执政合法性关系到社会政治秩序的稳定与持久,因而是现代政治研究中的一个重要议题。在中国共产党积极探索执政规律的过程中,邓小平关于执政合法性的理论无疑起到重要作用。具体体现在六个方面:即加强集体领导,扩大党内民主;加强法制建设,发展社会主义民主政治;反对任何特权,坚决维护人民的利益;重塑党的权威,加强执政党自身建设;防止两极分化,保持社会公平;维护意识形态安全,推进马克思主义中国化。

The political legitimacy has relation with the stability and persistence of political and social order, so it is a very important issue in the modern political research. DENG Xiao-ping theory on governing legitimacy plays an important role in the process that the Communist Party of China positively explores the ruling law. It is reflected particularly in six aspects： strengthening collective leadership and broadening inner-party democracy, strengthening legal system and developing the democratic politics of socialism, fighting against privileges and resolutely safeguarding the interests of the people, reshaping the party＇s authority and strengthening the party＇s self-construction, preventing the polarization and maintaining social equity, and maintaining the ideological security and advancing the Marxism in China.
