With the rapid development of the educational informationization, the university news website, as a newborn media, has developed fast, and its positioning has become increasingly clear. The university news website is regarded as a new carrier of moral education, a window of displaying the university. However, universities usually ignore education and service functions the news, misunderstand the meaning of ＂propaganda＂, and have many weaknesses in the mode of transmission, media resource integration and team building. Under the conditions in the new era, university news network should seize the opportunity and work hard to enhance internal forces of the news network, strengthen technological platform, integrate resources, and explore characteristics so as to strengthen the influence and appeal of the universities news network .
