语言是社会生活的一面镜子。语言中的词汇对于各种变化最为敏感,容易受到政治、经济、社会文化等各方面的影响,继而产生大量的新鲜词汇。四年一度的美国大选,不仅使奥巴马成为镁光灯的焦点,奥巴马词汇也迅速地进入英语语言。本文尝试从三个角度分析奥巴马新词及其文化内涵。

Words and phrases, the most sensitive elements in language, are always influenced by the politics, the economy as well as the social culture. According to the Global Language Monitor, the latest word to enter the English language is ‘Obama＇ in its many variations. Obama is used as a ‘root＇ for an ever-expanding number of words. This article tries to analyze the formation of ObamaSpeak and its cultural connotation.
