摘要
从简约论和最简方案两个角度分析了提升与控制动词的区别。语义上,提升主语与提升动词无论旨关系,控制语则为控制动词的题元,与受控语PRO同标;句法上,管约论不能合理解释提升there的副主语的授格,控制动词对补语的选择问题。最简方案运用配伍解释副主语格核查问题,认为受子语类化特征和界面条件限制,动词在句子层面会有不同表现,证明能够更为合理地解释上述两个问题。
Semantically, the raising subject has no theta relation with the raising verb, while the controller is an argument of the control verb, conindexed with PRO. Syntactically, GB theory can not make principled accounts for Case assignment of the associate of the raising there and different selections of complement of the control verb. MP applies Agree to Case checking of the associate, and assumes that owing to restrictions from the subcategorization features and interface conditions, the same verb has different sentential realizations, hence is able to explain the above two problems.
