远棒蚤属─新种记述(蚤目:臀蚤科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS AVIOSTIVALIUS (SIPHONAPTERA: PYGIOPSYLLIDAE)

本文记述了采自湖北省宜昌县远棒蚤属AviostivaliusTraub，1980一新种，即无端栓远棒蚤Aapapillusspnov，并对该属的属征进行了补充和修订。

Aviostivalius apopillus sp. nov - (Figs. 1-6)Diagnosus The new species is similar to A. aestivalius Uameson and Sakaguti, 1954) inthe shape of movable process and distal arm of sternite IX, but easily distingui shable fromthe latter by the following characters: 1 )the apical portion(the apical crook)of movable pro-cess is post-upward in shape, its ant-apical angle is arc-round, here appears not feet-like(sti-va);2 ) the basal half of the posterior lateral lobe of distal arm is prominently projectingbackward, but 'its apical half is nearly cut-oblique-like; spiniform bristles of the posteriormargin 7-9; The apico-posterior margin of anterior lateral lobe of distal arm is also cut-oblique in shape, with bristles 4-5; 3)crochet shape see Fig. 3, the main body part of horizon-tal (basal) section is longer and its anterior spur-project is also Ionger; 4 ) apical papilla ofhilla of spermatheca absent.Holotype t, body length 2. 9 mm. Holotype t, paratypes3 t t,2 4 4 are deposited in Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology of Academy ofMilitary Medical Sciences(AMMS), the other types are deposited in Hea1th and Anti-epi-demic Disease Station of Yichang City of Hubei Province.
