The quality of education has been the focus for colleges and universities recently . It is clear that the teachers are the core of the quality of education. This paper analyzes the current situation of teachers who are working in the research - oriented university proceeding from the qualities of the university teachers . The paper put forward some suggestion to improve the quality of teachers in research - oriented universities .
