摘要
通过对《名利场》中艾米丽亚和蓓基对待爱情、婚姻和孩子的不同心态和行为进行对比,深入分析两位女主人公截然不同的性格与命运,并揭示其深层社会原因,从而深刻理解作者的创作主题和社会背景。
Through comparing Amelia and Becky＇s different psychological attitudes and behaviors to their love, marriages and children, this paper analyzes the two heroines＇ different characters and fates deeply. Through the analysis , the social reasons to form their different characteristics is revealed, and we can understand the author＇ s creative theme and social back-ground .
