MMSE-FDE Equalization Algorithm for LTE Receiver

摘要 根据LTE上行SIMO接收机特点,对MMSE-RISIC均衡器进行简化修改,得到MMSE-FDE均衡器。该均衡器所有步骤全在频域进行,大大降低了均衡算法的复杂度。将该均衡器进行计算机仿真,其结果表明,该均衡器在3GPP LTE协议最常用的EPA和EVA信道中应用,能比较有效地消除MMSE均衡残留的码间干扰,使系统性能明显提高。 According to the characteristics of LTE uplink SIMO receiver, the MMSE- RISIC equalizer is simplified and the MMSE- FDE equalizer is gained. All steps of this equalizer perform in frequency domain, the complexity of algorithm decrease sharply. Through simulation in computer, the result shows that MMSE- FDE equalizer removes some the inter - symbol - interference(ISI) introduced by the MMSE equalizer in EPA and EVA channel which are the common channels in 3GPP LTE protocol, and the ability of the system is improved obviously.
