论祁头山文化

On Qitoushan Culture

江阴祁头山遗址发掘迄今,引起学界广泛关注,遗址对于探究早期太湖地区聚落考古的文化传承问题具有重要意义,有助于完善该地区史前文化的发展脉络。从出土陶器、玉器的形制、工艺及其内涵分析,祁头山遗址均体现出明显的多文化因素,加之本地区独有的文化特色,使得祁头山与典型的马家浜文化存有较大差异,可视为一种全新的考古学文化——祁头山文化。

Qitoushan site,which has attracted wild attention since its excavation,is of great significance to the exploration of the cultural inheritance of the early settlement archaeology in the Taihu Lake area and helpful to complete the development vein of prehistoric culture. With the shapes and connotations of excavated potteries and jade wares, the site displays evident multi-cultural facts,and great difference with typical Majiabang Culture, thus it can be regarded as a brand-new archaeological culture：Qitoushan Culture.
