摘要
针对单泵浦光纤参量放大器(FOPA)增益平坦性较差的情况,研究了双泵浦FOPA的准相位匹配问题。将高非线性光纤(HNLF)均匀地分成多段,在其中分别插入色散补偿光纤(DCF),对下一段高非线性光纤中的色散进行补偿,从而实现了准相位匹配,在较宽频带内得到了较平坦的增益。研究结果表明:通过周期插入色散补偿光纤,增益起伏得到了明显的改善;光纤参量放大器的增益与泵浦光功率有关,当增加泵浦光功率时,增益变大,但平坦性较差。插入色散补偿光纤的段数增加时,能解决增益起伏的问题。
Aiming at the situation that the gain spectrum of one-pump fiber-optic parametric amplifier(FOPA) is nonuniform, an investigation of the quasi-phase matching of two-pump FOPA was presented. The dispersion of the next high-nonlinear fiber( HNLF) was compensated by dividing the fiber into small segments equally, inserting segments of dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) at regular intervals, the quasi-phase matching was realized and a gain spectrum that was relatively uniform over a wide spectral range was obtained. The results show that the gain fluctuation of two-pump FOPA have been improved obviously, by inserting DCF at regular intervals in a high-nonlinear fiber. It is found that the parametric gain has a relationship with the pump powers. With the increasing of the pump powers, the parametric gain is raised, while the gain flatness is decreased. By inserting more dispersion compensation fiber arrangements, the parametric gain can be flattened.
