摘要
《局外人》揭示了20世纪西方世界的荒诞性,并通过主人公默尔索的精神发展历程,启示我们应对荒诞的正确态度和途径是在"爱"与"对话"中"重新开始",重建人与世界、与他者的关联,创造性地进行反抗。而默尔索从"局外人"向"反抗者"的成长,则是在辍学、入狱、被判处死刑等一系列边缘情境中逐步实现的。
In his masterpiece namedThe Stranger , Camus revealed the western world' absurdity in the 20th century. The author tried to tell us that the right attitude and proper way for Man ,who has to cope with the absurdity, is to resist creatively ,that is ,to refresh one' s life through love and dialogue, to reunite one' s relationship with the others,including the absurd reality. And Meursaul' s mental evolutional process from the stranger to the resister, is gradually displayed in a series of marginal contcxtualizations.
