明初重典治国对靖难之役结果的影响

On the Influence of the Strategy of "Ruling by Draconian Law" Initiated in the Early Ming Dynasty on the Outcome of Jingnan(Pacifying the Turmoil) Incident

明朝初年,统治阶级采取了重典治国的方略,这一治国方针对一个新兴的王朝来讲有利有弊,但总体是弊大于利;"靖难之役"则是一场明初统治阶级内部对于最高权力的争夺战。表面上看起来,二者之间并无直接联系。但是,民众基础对于一场战争的结果有着很大影响,而统治阶级的治国方略又对社会的人心向背有着重要影响,因此,考察"重典治国"方针对明初社会民众基础的影响,可以加深我们对"靖难之役"结果的理解,并进一步认识到社会进步与变革中人民大众的作用。

In the early Ming Dynasty, the ruling class adopted the strategy of ＂ruling by draconian law＂. This new strategy of governance had both advantages and disadvantages for a newly established dynasty, but on the whole, its disadvantages outweighed its advantages. The Jingnan Incident reflected the internal infighting and war among the ruling classes for supreme power. On the surface, the strategy of ＂ruling by draconian law＂ seems to have no relationship with the Jingnan Incident. However, the underlying popular bases may exert huge impact on the outcome of a war, while the strategies of administering state affairs of the ruling class have an important impact on the trend of public feeling and popular support. Therefore, by examining the influences of the strategy of ＂ruling by ＆aeonian law＂ on popular bases, we can deepen our understanding of the outcome of the Jingnan Incident, and advance our comprehension of the roles the popular masses play in the process of social progress and social transformation.
