摘要
语料库是利用计算机技术储存了大量语言运用实例的"仓库",因而语料真实、信息量庞大,检索速度快,使用者可瞬时检索出大量例证,以便集中观察语言运用的规律。研究将语料库引入翻译教学课堂,教师指导学生通过语料库观察词的语法形式、搭配,观摩双语语料库中同一表达方式的不同译法,从而缩短学生提高表达能力和学习翻译技巧的时间,提高翻译教学效果。
A corpus is an electronic "storehouse" of a great numbers of examples illustrating uses about a language, which is characterized by fast retrieval as well as immense storage of information about true language usage. Thus corpus users can retrieve in a minute a lot of examples so that they can observe and make generalizations about the usage of a head word. In this research a corpus-aided methodology is introduced into translation pedagogy. The teacher instructs students to acquire usage concerning grammatical forms and collocation of words via corpus retrieval. They can also acquire translation techniques through observation in a parallel corpus of different translations of the same source text item. By so doing, the time spent in improving language proficiency and translation ability on the part of students can be greatly shortened and thus better results of translation pedagogy can be achieved.
