Invited by Korea Science and Engineering Foundation （KOSEF）, Prof. Shen Wenqing, Vice President of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, attended the International Symposium, which was held from June 24 to 27, 2009 in Seoul, Korea, in commemoration of the establishment of the National Research Foundation of Korea （NRF）. Prof. Shen delivered a speech at the symposium, and had a bilateral meeting with Prof. Chan-Mo Park, Chairman of NRF.
