农民工政治参与现状与发展——以“新泉州人”为分析对象

The Status and Development of Political Participation of Migrant Workers in Cities——Case Study of New Quanzhou People

以泉州市农民工参政状况调查为实证,指出:城市农民工政治参与既受制于制度、组织缺失等客观因素,又受到农民工自身权利意识淡薄、文化程度相对低下和经济基础脆弱等主观因素制约。必须加强制度建设,推进城市管理与治理改革,提升农民工的社会经济地位和文化素质,提高组织化程度,才能增强农民工政治参与的效能。

The investigation of political participation of migrant workers in Quanzhou shows that their political participation are both restricted by the objective factors of lack of the system and organizations,but also by the subjective factors of weak awareness of their own rights,relatively low education and weak economic conditions.There is a need to strengthen the system construction,promote the reforms of the urban management and governance,and improve the socio-economic status of migrant workers in cities and cultural quality,so as to enhance the degree of organization and the effectiveness of political participation of migrant workers in cities.
