The enduring discussion on Stalin mode can be, to a large extent, attributed to its conceptual vagueness and confusion. This paper, after clarifying some relative concepts, discusses the difference between Stalin and Soviet mode, which helps understand and evaluate Soviet history, and therefore strengthens the confidence of Chinese reform.
