The paper has summed up the research development in etathrate hydrate hydrogen storage material in the past decades, introduced the structure and stability of clathrate hydrate hydrogen storage material, compared the characteristics and volumes of different structure elathrate hydrate hydrogen storage, and studied the pivotal problems in these researches and forecasted the development trend in the future.
