从社会语言学和语用学的角度研究日常交际中委婉语与礼貌原则配合使用状况及二者之间的关系.通过实例研究委婉语与礼貌原则在汉语中的实际应用情况及社会变量对使用委婉语和礼貌语言的影响.通过研究发现人们在日常交际活动中使用委婉语,故意违反合作原则是为了遵循礼貌原则,是为了使交际活动更加成功和谐.

The paper has studied the application of and the relationship between euphemism and politeness principle in everyday communication from the perspective of social linguistics and pragmatics, and the actual application of euphemism and politeness principle in Chinese and the influence of social viable upon euphemism and politeness principle by examples. The paper has come to conclusion that the purpose violation of cooperation principle in everyday communication is to comply with politeness principle so as to achieve the success and harmony of the communication.
