Day lily is a vegetable with abundant nutrition and its flower bud is edible. It includes protein, vitamin, polysaccharide and many kinds of elemental composition such as calcium, iron, phosphorus which the human body needs. It is a people＇s favorite green healthy food. The presently planting area reaches 200 thousand Mu in Hengyang, it also keeps enlarging year by year and has wide development prospects.
