Challenges of Post-modernism and Plight of Paradigm Shift of Modern Literary Theory

后现代主义文化思潮是西方理性主义文化传统的反动,它孕育于西方现代文化的母胎中,对当代文化艺术产生了巨大的影响,同时也对人文社会科学各门学科的确立产生了巨大的销蚀作用:导致"学科规则的消失"和"生成新的学术领域"。面对后现代思潮的挑战,当代文学理论范式的转换应当把握反本质主义的理论原点,这是应对挑战的前提。

Post-modernist cultural trend is a revolt against cultural tradition of western rationalism, gestated in western modem culture, producing a great impact on modem cultures and arts and playing a huge eroding role on establishing subjects of humanities and social sciences, which leads ＂the disappearance of subject rules＂ and ＂the generation of new scholar fields＂. When facing the challenges from post-modernism, modem paradigm shift of literary theory should grasp theoretical essence of anti-essentialism, and it remains the key to these challenges.
