一百多年来,人类对思维的研究不断取得新进展。思维研究为从事自然科学、社会科学的学者所普遍重视。加强对历史思维的探讨对于深化史学思想、史学理论的研究,同样具有重大的价值。振兴民族文化、推进新世纪的史学,要求我们必须从历史思维的高度上进行思考。中华民族的传统历史思维是深邃和有特色的,如观察、研究历史的天人联系的整体系统思维、观察历史兴衰变动的通变思维以及在学术上的融汇百家以"成一家之言"的创新思维和治史的类例思维等。从思维的高度对民族史学进行总结,进而开展中外史学比较及跨文化的史学研究,从中可以充分彰显出民族历史思维的时代价值。

Studies on thinking are attracting more and more attention from scholars of natural and social sciences. It＇s necessary to strengthen the historical thinking. To rejuvenate the national culture and promote historiography in the new century, we must stand in the position of historical thinking. The traditional historical thinking of the Chinese nation is deep and characteristic, such as whole and systematic thinking in the studies on the relationship between heaven and man, inheriting and passing thinking in the studies on history, creative thinking in the studies on various schools and so on.
