摘要
榜样教育在中国历史上源远流长。中国古代的思想家、教育家认为,榜样的作用是对照、激励和矫正,个体的人格塑造是内省与外学的结果,并提出了诸如"其身正,不令而行","见贤思齐焉","择其善而从之","行不言之教"等许多有价值的观点,在德育实践中亦总结出重视身教、身体力行、师德为先、环境熏陶、内修自省、因材施教等方法。这些思想至今仍有影响力,对于今天的榜样教育不无启示。
Educationists and thinkers in ancient China think that the functions of example include contrast, encouragement, correction, personality and so on. They put forward some valuable points and in the educational practice they attached importance to their own examples, virtue first, environmental influence, inner self - examination, teaching students in accordance of their aptitude, which are still influential today.
