Aquaporin-4 and Gastrointestinal Diseases

水通道蛋白4(aquaporin 4,AQP4)在胃肠道分布广泛,在胃肠道正常生理功能的发挥中起着重要作用。AQP4与某些胃肠道疾病如腹泻、便秘、慢性浅表性胃炎、胃癌等密切相关。众多学者运用AQP4研究成果在中医药领域开展了系列研究,取得一定进展。将AQP4与胃肠疾病的相关性研究做一综述,以期为正确认识和治疗胃肠疾病提供新的思路和方法。

The distribution of aquaporin-4 （AQP4） in the stomach and intestine is wide.AQP4 is a important thing to regulate water balance in the stomach and the intestine. Abnormality regulation of AQP4 is associated with some Gastrointestinal Diseases and their pathophysiology mechanism, such as diarrhea, constipation, chronic superficial gastritis, stomach cancer and so on. Recent the series studies in the traditional chinese medicine have to be reported about AQP4. In the article we review recent researches of aquaporin-4 and its relationship with gastrointestinal diseases, in order to provide the new mentality and the method during treatment the astrointestinal disease.
