This article makes clear connotation, manifestation and operation logic of the cultural imperialism to distinguish the internal connection between culture imperialism and modern medium culture, global capitalism expansion as well as the modernity universalism discourse and to expound the contradiction and dilemma of cultural nationalism under the impact of the Western （particularly the US） cultural imperialism.
