对金属液体雾化的机理和模型进行了系统的综合评述，并对已有的大多数模型进行了归纳和分类，探讨了各种模型所沿用的基础理论和研究方法。指出现有的金属雾化模型均带有一定经验假设，而大多数经验公式又依存某些理论模型。至今为止，这些模型均难以深刻地定量和定性描述金属液流的雾化过程。

Abstract Mechanisms and models of atomization have been systematically reviewed,most models have been concluded and classified,basic theories and methods used in the models have been studied.It has been shown that the available theoretical models of the atomization are somewhat experimental,most expeimental formulas are based on these theoretical models.
