The strength parameter of landslide slip layer is the key parameter for the stability analysis and control design of landslide. On the basis of the studies of the affecting factors for strength parameter, the estimation methods of the strength parameter of landslide slip layer are discussed in this paper. The integrating of the reverse calculation and the comprehensive methods can be regarded as a good way for the estimation of the strength parameter of landslide slip layer.
