On Dec. 10, 2009, the International Human Rights Day, Scholars and students inBeijing gathered to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in China University of Political Science and Law. The Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Institute of China University of Political Science and Law, the Law School of Renmin University of China, and the LawSchool of Tsinghua University jointly sponsored the commemorations. The commemoration consisted of four parts including ＂the 61 st Anniversary of the Adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Photo Exhibition＂, ＂Remembrance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights＂, and relative academic seminars.
