摘要
卞孝萱先生在《现代国学大师学记》中概述清末民初国学大师的治学美意,表述国学大师治学得失,开拓研究现代国学大师的范围,提出甚多值得研究的民国学术史的课题。他虽师事有关大师,评论却不讳其失,论述观点为前人未导。该著可开拓研究现代国学大师群体的视野,不独是个人自述,也是半部民国学术史。
In the book Study Records of Modern Masters of Chinese Traditional Learning, Mr. BIAN Xiaoxuan outlines the aesthetic meaning of scholarly pursuit of some masters of Chinese traditional learning who lived from the end of Qing Dynasty to the early period of the Republic of China and represents their gains and losses in study. Then Mr. BIAN Xiao-xuan expands the scope of research on modern masters of Chinese traditional learning and proposes many topics on academic history of the Republic of China which is worth studying. Though Mr. BIAN Xiao-xuan learned from some related master of Chinese traditional learning, he points out the losses of the master and his comments do not follow predecessors. The work of Mr. BIAN Xiao-xuan can expand the vision of research on the modern masters of Chinese traditional learning. It is not only the comments made by Mr. BIAN himself but also a half part of the academic history of the Republic of China.
