In order to actually achieve the goal of English learning in colleges and to improve the level of English practice of college students,this essay combines ＂The Quest of College English Program＂ and classroom practice together,emphasizes from the necessity and significance of independent-learning,comments on studying English as a tool,puts forward theoretical instruction,and links the current Chinese college English teaching and learning status as well as English applying and practice of students,explore the new directions and new originalities of English teaching reforms.
