The Cultivation of Awareness of Intercultural Communication in College English Teaching

随着国际交往的日益频繁,跨文化交际能力在国际交流中的地位日益彰显。在新形势下,英语教学不仅是传授语言知识,更重要的是培养学生使用英语进行跨文化交际的能力。通过探究跨文化交际意识的定义和内涵,分析了培养跨文化交际意识的重要性,并提出了在大学英语的教学中如何培养跨文化交际意识的教学方法与实践。

With the increasingly frequent international exchanges,intercultural communicative competence has been playing a critical role in international exchanges.In the new situation,to train students the capabilities of intercultural communication is more important than to impart knowledge of the language in the college English teaching.This paper discusses the definition and content of the awareness of intercultural communication,analysis the importance of cultivating the awareness of intercultural communication,and puts forward teaching methods and practice of how to cultivate the awareness of intercultural communication in college English teaching.
