Influences of the Long Tail Theory on Information Resource Utility Rate in University Libraries

本文从长尾理论的概念入手,介绍长尾理论的3个基本原则,提出从资源建设、信息服务、用户工作三方面入手,提高高校图书馆资源利用率。

Starting with the concept of the long tail theory,introducing the three principles of the long tail theory,this paper discussed the influences of the theory on library resource-collecting,information service and users job,in order to increase the information resource utility rate in university libraries.
