改革开放以来的中国人口学发展——回顾、评述与展望

Demographic Studies in China since Reform and Opening-up:Review and Future Perspective

纵观中国改革开放30年的伟大历程,中国人口学从研究内容到研究范式无不深受其社会经济发展的深刻影响。近30年来中国的人口学发展可以分为逐步恢复、繁荣兴起、停滞不前和稳定发展四个阶段。在各方面的共同努力下,人口学取得了长足的发展,不仅得到国内社会科学界的认同,同时也赢得国际学界的尊重,但必须承认,在其恢复和发展的30年中,仍显露出人口学基础理论创新不足、人口研究的数理化误区、人口研究成果重复性多且精品少等方面的不足。未来人口学研究将在人口与健康、人口迁移流动及人口与可持续发展等领域有新的发展。

Based on the reviews of major journals and books relevant to demographic studies in China and in consideration of the process of socio - economic transition since reform and opening - up, this paper highlights the evolution of demographic studies in China for last three decades, summarizes the successful experiences and some limitations, and also makes an approach to the future perspective of Chinese demographic studies. This paper finds out that there are four stages of demographic studies in China since 1978, and future research priorities should be given to population health, migration, and sustainable development, etc.
