摘要
在毛泽东诗词当中,典雅用词极其简炼、生动,透出一种古朴、庄严之气,极大地增强了作品的艺术感染力;同时,毛泽东以口语入诗,使诗词语言获得了一种鲜活感和灵动感。雅俗兼备,是毛泽东诗词显著的语言风格。那么,英译文就应该如实再现毛泽东诗词雅俗兼备的语言特征,做到以雅译雅、以俗传俗。如此,译者方才算是忠实于原诗。
Mao Tse- tung＇ s poems, with archaic words vivid and pithy, are of a primitive simplieity and sublimity, which add to their artistic appeal. Meanwhile, vulgarism words bring freshness into Mao＇s poems. Compatibility of archaie words and vulgarism constitutes a cunspieuous linguistic style. Faithful to the original, translations must be characteristic with archaic words to archaic ones and vulgarism to vulgarism.
