Ode to Phoenix Perching in Parasol Tree by Wang Bo is very important in the history of ancient Chinese odes. It is a poem with the characters of given name, rhythm and restricted rhymes in the earlier history of odes which is recorded in the earlier Tang Dynasty. The time of its creation is still in debate;furthermore, the significance of the genre and subject is still in undercover in the history of odes. From the perspective of aesthetic imagery, it is unique for the poem to depict the Parasol and Phoenix.
