老舍在青岛的教育活动——纪念老舍诞辰110周年

On the Educational Activities of Laoshe in Qingdao——A Commemorative Article of the 110th Birthday of Lao She

老舍是享誉中外的著名作家,但他的专业"写家"远没有从教时间长。青岛是老舍任教时间仅次于英国伦敦和济南的城市。老舍在国立山东大学的教学、在青岛几所中学的讲演、在青岛发表的教育文章,以及他对子女、对儿童、对教员生活的深切关注,折射出一种宗教式、不乏幽默、深邃苍凉的教育情怀,为青岛教育界留下了弥足珍贵的记忆。老舍1899年2月3日生于北京,1966年8月24日含冤而死。为纪念老舍诞辰110周年,特撰此文,寄托哀思。

Lao She was a well known writer and novelist both at home and abroad, but the time he taught is much longer than that he wrote. The time he taught in Qingdao was just a little shorter than in London and Jinan. A lot of things , including his teaching in Shandong University, his speeches in middle schools of Qing- dao, his educational articles published in Qingdao and even his attention to his own children and the other children and teachers refracted his religious, humorous and profound educational feelings. This left treasured memories to Qingdao educational circles. Lao She was born on Feb. 3, 1899 in Beijing and died un-cleared of the false charge on Aug. 24, 1966 because of the case of injustice. This article is to commemorate the 110th birthday of Lao She.
